DALLAS - Mustang Partners and College Sports Co. today announce the launch of Mustang Studios
Dallas, TX — June 9th, 2026, Mustang Partners and College Sports Co. today announced the launch of Mustang Studios, a new athlete-driven media platform focused on original programming and athlete-driven content built around SMU student-athletes.
The launch reflects Mustang Partners’ continued investment in storytelling and innovative branding opportunities for student-athletes in one of the nation’s largest media markets.
More than a traditional in-house media operation, Mustang Studios is designed to bring the personality, perspective and day-to-day experiences of SMU student-athletes directly to fans. The platform will produce premium digital content across social, streaming and podcast platforms while creating new opportunities for partner integration and community engagement.
The network’s logo draws directly from SMU iconography, featuring the iconic bronze trio of Mustangs located at the heart of campus and inspired by The Boulevard, the heartbeat of the Hilltop and home to SMU’s gameday tradition.
“Mustang Studios is another example of the momentum and innovation happening across SMU Athletics,” said SMU Director of Athletics Damon Evans. “In today’s landscape, storytelling and brand-building matter more than ever, and this platform gives us an opportunity to showcase the incredible personalities, stories and experiences of our student-athletes while continuing to elevate the SMU brand on a national stage.”
“Mustang Studios is about giving SMU student-athletes a platform to show who we are beyond the game,” said SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings. “There’s a lot of energy and momentum around SMU right now, and Mustang Studios gives our athletes and teams a chance to connect with fans in a real way that reflects where SMU athletics is headed.”
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, at the center of this is the student-athletes,” said Adam Breneman, Co-Founder of College Sports Co. “Fans today want a deeper connection to the players and personalities behind the program, and athletes deserve a platform that allows them to tell their stories in an authentic way. Mustang Studios is going to give SMU athletes a real voice while bringing fans closer to the program than ever before.”
At launch, Mustang Studios will also introduce its flagship program, The 214.
Hosted by former SMU student-athletes and popular Mustang personalities Alex Glover and Billy Embody, The 214 will deliver weekly conversations surrounding life at SMU, the Dallas sports scene and the stories shaping Mustang athletics and culture. The show will also feature recurring appearances from SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings and voices from across the Mustang community. Named after Dallas’ iconic area code, The 214 will serve as a central voice for the Mustang community.
